1. Description of Service
YBook is a multi-tenant appointment booking platform. Business owners can create a business profile, define services, set availability, and accept bookings from clients. Clients can discover businesses, book appointments, and manage their bookings. YBook provides the platform infrastructure but is not a party to any transaction or agreement between a business and its clients.
2. Account Registration
•You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
•You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
•One account per person. Multiple accounts for the same individual are not permitted.
•You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Platform.
3. Business Owner Responsibilities
If you register a business on YBook, you agree to:
•Provide accurate business information and service descriptions.
•Honor confirmed appointments or communicate cancellations promptly.
•Manage your own client relationships and customer data responsibly.
•Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations for your business type.
•Take responsibility for all content you post, including service descriptions and images.
4. Client Responsibilities
If you book appointments through YBook, you agree to:
•Provide accurate contact and booking information.
•Show up for confirmed appointments or cancel in advance.
•Communicate respectfully with business owners and staff.
•Leave honest reviews based on genuine experiences.
5. Bookings & Appointments
•Appointments may be subject to business owner confirmation unless the business has enabled auto-confirm.
•Cancellation policies are set by individual businesses. Check with the business for their specific policy.
•YBook is not a party to the transaction between the business and the client. Any disputes regarding services should be resolved directly between the parties.
•Repeated no-shows may be tracked and could affect your ability to book with certain businesses.
6. Reviews
•Reviews must be honest and based on a genuine appointment experience.
•Business owners can configure whether reviews are displayed publicly or kept private.
•YBook reserves the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or violate these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
•The YBook platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by YBook.
•Business owners retain rights to their own content (business descriptions, uploaded images, service details).
•AI-generated service images created through the Platform are provided as-is, without warranty of ownership or exclusivity.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Platform to:
•Engage in any illegal activity.
•Send spam, unsolicited messages, or abuse the notification system.
•Impersonate another person or business.
•Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Platform without permission.
•Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operations or infrastructure.
9. Limitation of Liability
•YBook is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
•We are not responsible for disputes between businesses and clients, including service quality, pricing, or appointment outcomes.
•We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
•Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
•YBook may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.
•You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
•Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Data retention is governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
